What they need
Job Overview
Join our manufacturing team and help build high-quality commercial dryers from the frame up. You will work with mechanical components, wiring, testing equipment, and finishing tools in a hands-on role where precision, teamwork, and safety matter every day.
Why this role stands out
· Build a complete product, not just one small component.
· Develop practical mechanical, electrical, quality, and testing skills.
· Work with a supportive production team and clear, standardized processes.
· Gain variety through cross-training across multiple assembly phases.
· Benefits for the employee: health insurance, 401(k), PTO, dental & vision insurance, AD&D and life insurance.
What you will do
You will assemble, connect, inspect, test, finish, and prepare commercial dryers for shipment. Depending on training and production needs, your work may include:
· Mechanical assembly: Build frames, enclosures, fan and filter systems, bearing boxes, drums, motors, belts, doors, control panels, and related subassemblies.
· Electrical assembly: Route and secure wiring, install cable guides and ferrites, connect components, fuses, switches, sensors, and control boards according to work instructions.
· Testing and quality: Complete visual, functional, dielectric, grounding/insulation, motor, fan, thermostat, and sensor checks; accurately record results in the computer system.
· Finishing and packaging: Install final covers, labels, documentation, and accessories; clean, package, identify, and stage finished machines for safe shipment.
· Production support: Review manufacturing orders, report material shortages, respond to quality issues, and perform other related assembly tasks as directed.
What you bring
· Experience: At least 2 years of mechanical, industrial assembly, machinery assembly, or closely related hands-on work.
· Education: Technical training in mechatronics, industrial maintenance, electromechanics, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
· Skills: Strong attention to detail, reliability, adaptability, ability to learn, and confidence working independently after training.
· Work approach: Ability to follow written processes, manufacturing orders, quality standards, and safety procedures.
· Technology: Comfortable using shop-floor terminals or computer applications to review orders and enter production or test data.
