About the Job

Watermark Designs is seeking an Assembly specialist to join the organization as a member of the Assembly Department. They will be responsible for quality assurance checks and assembling orders consisting of the various components of the luxury kitchen and bathroom fixtures products, such as faucets, tub and shower systems’ assemblies and accessories. This position reports to the Operations Manager.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform the assembly and production of devices according to standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality standards.
• Identify defects in surface, dimensional, visual and non-conformities (material, documentation and workmanship) to blueprints and quality standards. Report non-conformance of materials or unusual conditions to Team Leader / Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of assembly activities, including batch records, production logs, inspection reports, and non-conformance records.
• Perform all responsibilities within productivity and quality expectations. Follow work procedures.
• Mark, label and package parts.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize assembly processes, enhance efficiency, and minimize waste.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Report safety incidents to supervisor.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and production, to address technical issues, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
• Make adjustments to meet customer requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Basic understanding of products and equipment used in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to detect slight variations in color and distance between parts on assembly fixtures.
• Ability to manipulate various small pieces of an assembly fixture at the same time.
• Use of basic tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.
