Assembly Engineer / NPI Engineer

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using SolidWorks & AutoCAD.
• Perform engineering analysis to ensure product reliability and performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (electrical, manufacturing, quality, supply chain) throughout the NPI process.
• Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs.
• Evaluate and improve existing designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFX standards are met.
• Participate in design reviews, FMEA sessions, and technical documentation.

For NPI Assembly Engineer, preferably candidates with the following experience:

• Lead assembly engineering activities during New Product Introduction (NPI) for semiconductor process tools (e.g., etch, clean, deposition systems)
• Develop, document, and improve assembly instructions, build guides, and test procedures for new platforms and sub-systems

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of mechanical design and development experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals: mechanics, materials, thermodynamics, Assembly Drawings & Quality Specifications, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and design documentation.
• Hands-on experience with tooling, jigs, and assembly fixturing.
• Experience in semiconductor capital equipment, high-precision mechanical assemblies, and automation/consumer electronics mechatronic industry will be added advantage.
