Responsibilities

• Operate assembly line equipment and machinery with accuracy and efficiency to meet production targets
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to assemble components according to technical specifications
• Interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and production documents to ensure precise assembly processes
• Conduct manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, while adhering to safety protocols and ergonomic standards
• Manage inventory of parts and materials, including forklift operation for moving supplies within the factory floor
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards in production environments
• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements for lean manufacturing practices

Requirements

• Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred
• Demonstrated assembly line experience with mechanical assembly tasks
• Proficiency in using measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and interpreting technical drawings
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocol guidelines
• Mechanical knowledge or background that supports understanding of assembly processes
• Experience managing or supporting production teams or process improvements is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills for interpreting technical documentation

Pay: $22.53 - $27.13 per hour
