Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Machine Operator and Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating our custom assembly machinery, while learning to perform minor maintenance and product change overs. During production, technicians will be examining finished products for defects, using both measuring tools and visual tools such as a microscope. Following a production run, the Operator Technician will be trained to remove and change over production tooling/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate assembly machines with precision to meet production targets
• Use visual instruments such as microscopes, light board and comparator to verify dimensions.
• Follow safety protocols including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all tasks
• Conduct quality checks using shop math and measurement instruments to ensure product specifications are met

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in mechanical assembly and machining processes
• Ability to interpret production documents and shop math accurately
• Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred but not required

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45.0 – 50.0 per week
