We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Assembler to join our team — someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys a hands-on, practical role.

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for assembling our premium agricultural machinery to a consistently high standard, ensuring every unit leaving our workshop reflects the quality Ausmix stands for.

You’ll join a well-established and experienced assembly team with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and teamwork.

What you'll be doing

• Assembling and fitting premium agricultural machinery and equipment with precision and attention to detail.
• Following technical drawings, specifications, and work orders.
• Trouble shooting assembly challenges and contributing practical solutions.
• Performing quality checks to ensure all equipment meets production standards.
• Providing guidance and training to junior team members.
• Ensuring a safe, organised and efficient workshop environment.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified mechanic or assembler or relevant experience, ideally in the agricultural or heavy equipment sectors.
• Strong technical expertise in the assembly, servicing or repair of farm or industrial machinery.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
• Proven experience mentoring junior technicians.
• Current driver's licence and forklift certification.
