We're Hiring: Assembly Mechanic | Medior/Senior | 40 Hours per Week

At Xelvin, we're looking for an experienced Assembly Mechanic to join our client's team in the food processing machinery industry. You'll work on advanced machines and mechatronic systems in an international, technology-driven environment where craftsmanship and quality make all the difference.

What will you be doing?

As an Assembly Mechanic, you'll play a key role in bringing complex machines to life, from individual components to fully functioning systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assembling and installing mechanical and mechatronic modules and machines.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Inspecting, testing, calibrating, and adjusting machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting technical issues and finding practical solutions.
• Identifying opportunities to improve assembly processes and working methods.

What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone with a hands-on mentality, a strong technical mindset, and a passion for precision.

Ideally, you have:

• A technical qualification and experience in mechanical assembly or machine building.
• A solid understanding of technical systems and assembly processes.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• An independent, structured approach to work, with a strong focus on quality.
• Good communication skills in Dutch, German, or English. German is preferred over English.
• Experience in the food processing industry is a plus.
