Assembly - Mechanical

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems according to specifications and blueprints. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various tools and techniques used in assembly processes. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively, and a commitment to quality.

Duties

• Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
• Fabricate parts as needed, ensuring they meet specified dimensions and tolerances.
• Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify component specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and improve processes.

Experience

• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in assembly or manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with various power tools, hand tools, and machining techniques.
• Experience in reading blueprints and technical documents is essential.
• Previous experience in a fabrication setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Must have manual lathe experience.
