Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Team Member to join our tight-knit team in northern Virginia, currently in our location in Alexandria, VA. This is a unique opportunity to grow within our organization while working directly in assembly operations. You'll start by learning our processes alongside an experienced assembly manager and gradually take on increasing responsibilities for production coordination, process improvement, and team collaboration.

The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment and is eager to grow their skills while maintaining a strong involvement in other day-to-day tasks, such as shipping and purchasing.

Key Responsibilities

Assembly & Production

● Perform hands-on assembly of Safety Test Switches and PAC components

● Learn and master SecuControl's assembly processes and quality standards

● Help ensure production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards

● Work standard business hours (8 AM - 4 PM)

Team Collaboration & Development (Progressive Growth)

● Collaborate closely with the local and international teams

● Contribute to process improvements to increase efficiency and quality

● Assist with production scheduling and workflow coordination

● Cross-train on customer management functions

● Provide backup support for key functions during team member absences

Operations Support

● Assist with inventory management and coordinate with purchasing activities

● Support quality control standards throughout the production process

● Contribute to production metrics tracking and continuous improvement initiatives

● Support workplace safety compliance and best practices

● Maintain a clean and organized workplace

Required Qualifications

● Manufacturing/Assembly Experience: Strong hands-on background in manufacturing or assembly operations

● Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications

● Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, manual dexterity for precision assembly work (minimal lifting required)
