Job Title: Production Assembler

Location: Dexter, Michigan

We are seeking an experienced Production Assembler to support manufacturing operations involving electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Important: Candidates hired for 2nd shift must complete at least two weeks of training on 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) before transitioning to the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform production assembly of electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, including modules, boards, panels, frames, and cables.
• Follow diagrams, schematics, visual aids, process flow sheets, and written or verbal work instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, saws, and other production equipment.
• Perform continuity checks and basic testing on work-in-process and completed assemblies.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet established specifications.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test assemblies or prototype products as required.
• Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic production equipment when needed.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or abnormalities.
• Maintain accurate production records and follow established safety and quality procedures.
• Support other manufacturing activities such as processing, packaging, inventory, shipping, or receiving as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production assembly, electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a related environment.
• Ability to read and follow diagrams, schematics, visual aids, and work instructions.
• Experience using basic hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
• Must be flexible and available to complete required 1st-shift training for at least two weeks if hired for 2nd shift.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
