Assembly Operator

Join Our Manufacturing Team Dover Vanguard Limited is a leading manufacturer of specialist roller shutter door systems for the vehicle body building industry. We are looking for a motivated and reliable Assembly Operator to join our production team based from our factory in Oldham, Manchester.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in the fabrication and assembly of high-quality roller shutter doors used across a wide range of commercial vehicles. What You'll Be Doing As an Assembly Operator, you'll play an important role in the manufacture of our products by:

• Assembling specialist roller shutter door systems and components.
• Using hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment safely and effectively.
• Reading and working from technical drawings and production instructions.
• Measuring, cutting, preparing, and fitting components to specification.
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Supporting the packing and preparation of finished products for dispatch.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets.
• Following all company health, safety, and quality procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly, factory, or production environment.
• Good practical skills and confidence using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
• Forklift Truck Licence is advantageous but not required
• Mechanical or fabrication experience.
