Assembly / Packaging Machine Shop - Day Shift

Assist with the operation of Texas Swiss packaging and assembly department.

Daytime 5 days (Monday to Friday) 8:00 to 5:00 pm

Essential Tasks

• Assist Assembly process

• Assist packaging process

• Visual and Dimensional verification of parts

• Clean and count finished parts

• Maintain area cleanliness.

• Maintain a clean and productive working environment

• Keep lead and managers informed of critical issues which affect shipping deadlines.

• Work with raw material when necessary with hand tools (drills , file and others)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read part drawings and familiarity with basic measurement methods is preferred ( not required but a plus)

• Familiarity with manufacturing operations is required.

• Must be able to learn new tasks quickly, work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize responsibly.

• Good organizational skills. Confident with hand tools

• Ability to count and inspect a variety of products accurately and thoroughly

• Must have the ability to read and follow work instructions and inspect work for quality control on each completed project.

• Must be self-motivated to work independently, as well as work well on a team. Results-oriented with a demonstrated track record of success.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates

Education and Experience

• High school graduate / GED equivalent

Physical Requirements

Will be required to lift up-to 60 lbs. with ease, 61-150 lbs assisted

Most of the job will be sitting position , in addition some standing, moving, climbing, bending, kneeling and handling is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 to 12.00 per hour
