Assembly Supervisor

About the role

Assembly Supervisor responsible for planning and control in the Assembly Department, overseeing Final Assembly of Games and Medical Devices.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and control Assembly Department operations
• Oversee Final Assembly of Games and Medical Devices
• Coordinate with Technician/Harness, Metal Shop, Wood Shop, PPIC and QC to ensure effective and efficient production processes
• Record and control working hours (cycle time)
• Coordinate with Purchasing Department for component and equipment procurement
• Coordinate with all leaders for task and responsibility allocation
• Manage storage, usage, and maintenance of equipment and machinery
• Estimate work time for machine and tool production from each machine to be manufactured
• Collaborate with R&D in prototype machine development
• Handle administration and documentation for material/component requests, usage, equipment inventory, cycle time records, and production reports
• Provide information and resolve conflicts/issues among staff promptly

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 2 years work experience in the same field
• Experience handling Medical Device production
• Strong leadership and managerial skills
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Electronics and mechanical knowledge
• Ability to use measurement tools
• Knowledge of One Piece Flow and Batching Process
• Understanding of Time Study, Just in Time process and Lean manufacturing
• Good English Communication Skills
