ASSEMBLY TEAM MEMBER

Main Roles and Responsibilities of Position:

• Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand, air or power tools.
• Operates any equipment needed to perform job.
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervision.
• Inspects parts for defects.
• Uses computer to order or send away production materials.
• Completes required paperwork to document production.

Quality

• Ensures product and processes meet the standards relating to quality and STAKA.
• Ensures that process and product deviations from specification are documented and reported.
• Performs tasks according to inspection, handling, packing, gauging instructions.

Education and/or Experience Required:

• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Familiarity with metric system.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to read and carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to analyze problems involving production and notify proper people.
