Assembly Technician

Assembly Production Technician builds high‑quality machinery by assembling parts and subassemblies, ensuring each unit meets performance, safety, and quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Gather required components, tools, and materials
• Position and align parts using templates, measurements, and assembly fixtures
• Assemble components and subassemblies, ensuring proper fit and secure fastening
• Inspect completed assemblies to verify they meet specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues, escalating when necessary
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and report equipment malfunctions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately
• Support team goals by assisting with related tasks as needed

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude

• Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, diagrams, and blueprints
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Self‑motivated with sound judgment and practical decision‑making
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
• Strong focus on safety and efficient use of resources

Qualifications & Education requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in automotive mechanics preferred
• Experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly documentation
• Working knowledge of controls, instrumentation, power tools, and mechanical inspection tools
• Background in manufacturing, equipment maintenance, or related technical fields
• Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods during production tasks
