Location: South East England

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join an established engineering organisation in the South East of England.

The role will involve hands-on assembly of mechanical and electro-mechanical components, working from engineering drawings and work instructions and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

Key responsibilities:

• Mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly
• Working from engineering drawings and technical instructions
• Using hand and bench tools
• Sub-assembly and final assembly
• Using torque-controlled tools where required
• Carrying out quality checks and maintaining accurate records
• Following established processes and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience in production, assembly, manufacturing or a similar engineering environment
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Good practical and mechanical aptitude
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Comfortable working in a hands-on environment

Experience within aerospace, defence, rail, automotive, electronics or precision engineering would be advantageous.
