Assembly Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling high-precision components and products using a variety of tools, measuring instruments, and technical drawings. Your expertise will ensure that all assemblies meet strict quality standards and specifications, contributing to the overall success of our production process. Duties

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble components and systems.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other shop math tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, welding equipment, and specialized industrial tools for assembly tasks.
• Follow production documents and assembly instructions meticulously to ensure quality and consistency.
• Handle manual tasks including fabrication, soldering, welding, and mechanical assembly with precision.
• Utilize forklift or other warehouse equipment as needed for material handling and component movement.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with mechanical assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and mechanical blueprint comprehension.
• Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and shop math for precise measurements.
• Familiarity with welding, soldering, machining, and the use of specialized industrial tools is preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions consistently.
• Experience with pneumatic tools, power tools, manual handling techniques, and safety procedures including PPE use.
• Warehouse experience or familiarity with material handling equipment such as forklifts is advantageous.
