About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Assembly Technician to help build our water treatment systems in our shop. Most of your time will be spent on plastic fabrication, including plastic welding, molding, and solvent-cementing PVC and other plastic piping and components, along with general assembly of complete systems. This is a great fit for someone who likes working with their hands, takes pride in quality work, and enjoys a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plastic weld, mold, and fabricate components from PVC, CPVC, polypropylene, HDPE, and other plastics
• Cut, fit, and solvent-cement (glue) PVC and CPVC piping and fittings
• Assemble water treatment systems and skids, including tanks, vessels, pumps, valves, piping, and instrumentation
• Read and work from P&IDs, assembly drawings, and written instructions
• Pressure test and leak check completed assemblies
• Prepare finished systems for shipping, including crating and labeling
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe
• Help with receiving, inventory, and other warehouse tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in plastic fabrication, plumbing, piping, or mechanical assembly
• Experience solvent-cementing PVC/CPVC piping
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools
• Able to follow drawings and instructions accurately
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well on a small team

Preferred Qualifications

• Plastic welding experience (hot air, extrusion, or butt fusion)
• Experience with plastic molding or thermoforming
• Background in water treatment, plumbing, or industrial equipment
• Forklift experience or certification
• Valid driver's license

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
