If so, we'd love to hear from you!

Power Towers Ltd. is an established UK manufacturer specialising in innovative low-level access equipment. Founded in 2007, we have played a key role in developing the low-level access industry, providing safe and effective alternatives to traditional ladders, podiums and step-ups.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for Assembly Technicians to join our production team in Leicester.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, people-first company that provides full training and opportunities to develop your skills, with the potential to progress within the business.

Previous assembly experience is desirable but not essential. We are looking for people with the right attitude, a strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn.

The Role

As an Assembly Technician, you will assemble our range of powered and non-powered access equipment, ensuring all products are built safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assembling parts and components in accordance with work instructions and production targets.
  • Using a variety of hand tools, power tools and air-operated equipment.
  • Carrying out quality checks throughout the assembly process.
  • Recording build and inspection information accurately.
  • Ensuring products are assembled to the required quality standards and within designated production timescales.
  • Occasionally operating overhead lifting equipment, with appropriate training provided.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised workstation in line with 5S standards.
  • Following all company health and safety procedures.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily production targets.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing or production (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience using hand tools or power tools would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • A reliable and punctual approach, with excellent timekeeping and attendance.
  • A positive, self-motivated attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • The ability to follow instructions and work efficiently to production targets.
  • Good organisational skills and a flexible approach to work.
  • The willingness and flexibility to work overtime when required.

Benefits of Working at Power Towers

We value our employees and are committed to providing a positive, supportive working environment.

As part of our team, you'll benefit from:

  • Salary sacrifice pension scheme, with company contributions of up to 10%.
  • Company-paid Group Life Assurance (GLA).
  • Company-paid Group Income Protection (GIP).
  • Company-paid Health Shield Health Cash Plan, helping towards everyday healthcare costs.
