Assembly Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering / Assembly Technician to join our world-class manufacturing team at a leading US multinational corporation. In this role, you will perform semiconductor equipment testing, basic assembly, troubleshooting, and quality compliance to help us deliver cutting-edge technology and robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical & Electrical Assembly: Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical assembly of robotic systems and sub-assemblies according to work instructions, engineering drawings, BOMs, and OMS, using the correct tools and materials.
• Precision & Quality Control: Carry out wiring, component installation, kitting, precision alignment, and calibration while ensuring strict adherence to quality standards, safety procedures, ESD controls, and cleanroom protocols.
• Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Record assembly progress in ORACLE or shopfloor systems, identify and report defects, participate in Lean manufacturing and 5S activities, and collaborate closely with the team to meet production targets and support other assigned tasks.

Job Requirements

• Background or qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment testing, basic assembly, troubleshooting, and quality compliance is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
