Assembly Technician

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Body Shop Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling vehicle components in a body shop environment, ensuring that all parts are correctly installed and meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on precision, safety, and efficiency to support our commitment to delivering high-quality repairs and assemblies.

Duties

• Perform assembly of vehicle parts and components in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety protocols.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assembly tasks efficiently.
• Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints to ensure accurate installation of parts.
• Inspect assembled components for quality, fit, and finish, making adjustments as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries during assembly processes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in body shop assembly or related manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or work instructions.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Physical dexterity and stamina to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to assembly work is essential.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
