Assembly Technician (Day & Night shift)

Job Description: Technician

The Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, systems, or machinery to ensure smooth operations. They provide technical support to production teams, customers, or management while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Job Scope

Equipment & System Maintenance

• Install, test, and calibrate equipment or systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or electronic faults.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Troubleshooting & Support

• Respond to breakdowns and technical issues promptly.
• Provide technical support to colleagues or customers.
• Recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Quality & Safety Compliance

• Ensure work complies with industry standards and company policies.
• Follow workplace safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE.
• Conduct inspections to verify equipment performance and safety.

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and production staff.
• Report findings, repairs, and recommendations to management.
• Assist in training junior staff or apprentices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or certificate in Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years in technical support, maintenance, or repair roles.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical manuals.
• Soft Skills: Problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Certifications: Industry-specific certifications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
