Build Products That Change Lives

At FR Conversions, we design and manufacture wheelchair-accessible vehicles, ambulances, and specialty transportation solutions that help people move safely and independently every day.

We're looking for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy working with their hands, solving problems, and building high-quality products. Whether your experience comes from manufacturing, automotive repair, construction, fabrication, maintenance, or assembly work, we want to hear from you.

As an Assembly Technician, you'll be responsible for building and assembling critical vehicle components including ramps, tub assemblies, structural components, and other subassemblies that ultimately become part of finished vehicles used throughout North America.

This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys working as part of a team, and wants to grow their skills in a manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble ramps, tub housings, welded structures, and other vehicle components using hand and power tools.
  • Install hardware, brackets, hinges, fasteners, and mechanical components according to work instructions and specifications.
  • Inspect assemblies for quality, accuracy, and functionality throughout the build process.
  • Read and interpret work instructions, production documents, and measurements.
  • Safely operate common assembly equipment and tools.
  • Verify parts and materials before assembly.
  • Communicate quality, safety, or material concerns to supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate production and work order documentation.
  • Support inventory counts and material organization efforts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements.

Why FR Conversions?

  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience and skill level.
  • Stable, growing company with long-term career opportunities.
  • Opportunity to learn new skills and advance within manufacturing operations.
  • Hands-on work where you can see the direct impact of what you build.
  • Team-oriented culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Overtime opportunities may be available based on business needs.
