Located in Dandenong South, there is an opportunity to join our expanding manufacturing and assembly team in full-time, permanent positions. We offer an immediate start, with work hours of Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm.

About the Role

The successful applicant’s key duties will include manufacturing, fitting, and assembly of metal components and pumps using a variety of tools and equipment. Training on each of these duties will be provided.

The successful Production/Assembly applicant will be required to perform the following duties, but may not be limited to; 

• Assembly operations such as drilling, fastening, and bolting of components.
• Preparing components ready for assembly
• Able to work to close tolerances
• Assembly of component parts adhering to written and verbal specifications provided.
• Fits and assembles components, using fixtures, hand tools, and portable power tools.
• Preparing customer orders by working closely with the office and other production staff to ensure orders are on time and complete.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and handling goods safely
• Comply with all health and safety and quality requirements

Additional skills we look for in an ideal candidate include:

• Good attention to detail
• Strong work ethic, punctual, hardworking, and reliable with a willingness to learn
• A team player who is self-motivated, punctual and thrives on the ability to get the job done
• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Forklift license (preferred)
• Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred but not essential.
