We help families navigate an often-complex menu of treatment options by providing personalized guidance and expert clinical support.

What you’ll do
As an Assessment Specialist at Olo, you’ll conduct behavioral assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and reassess patients every six months to recommend appropriate ABA dosage, allied therapies, and other treatment modalities. We’re looking for BCBAs who thrive in collaborative, innovative, whole-child care and bring experience working alongside a multidisciplinary care team.
The Assessment Specialist will be responsible for the following:
- Conduct treatment assessments for patients with a neurodevelopmental diagnosis to determine medical necessity and recommend appropriate care recommendations including ABA, allied therapies, and other treatment modalities based on each patient’s age, acuity, and individual needs.
- Re-evaluate patient progress every six months using internal and external clinical information to recommend adjustments to treatment recommendations based on reliable data.
- Administer, score, and interpret standardized outcome measures, such as the Vineland-3, BASC-3, and other validated measures to evaluate progress and goal attainment and inform treatment recommendations.
- Use internal and external assessment measures to track progress and ensure ABA, allied, and other treatment recommendations are grounded in reliable data.
- Coordinate with patient external providers for peer-to-peer review and recommendations informed by assessment findings and progress reviews.
- Educate parents and caregivers on the rationale behind interventions and care plan recommendations.
- Develop brief behavior support plans for patients on ABA waitlists to help reduce challenging behaviors while they await services.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings to discuss patient progress and concerns.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all activities consistent with company policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A master’s degree or higher and active BCBA certification.
- Valid North Carolina BCBA certification and licensure in applicable states are required.
- 3+ years of experience conducting functional behavioral assessments and behavior plans.
- Spanish fluency required
- Experience administering, scoring, and interpreting various assessment tools and outcome measures.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary care team, including direct collaboration with ST, OT, and/or PT.
- Preferred: Experience with naturalistic developmental behavioral intervention (NBDI) modalities such as the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM)
- Possess extensive knowledge and training in behavior analysis.
- Previous experience supervising RBTs is preferred.
