As a WHSE Assessor, you'll review WHSE documentation against the Cm3 Prequalification Assessment Scheme while working closely with contractors to provide guidance, build capability, and support successful prequalification outcomes.

More than a compliance role, this is an opportunity to partner with businesses, influence positive safety outcomes, and be part of a collaborative team that values knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and customer success. You'll be supported by experienced assessors and subject matter experts committed to helping you succeed.

This is a 12 month Full-time opportunity based in Southbank, with hybrid working arrangements that support a healthy balance between collaboration in the office and flexibility to work from home.

Some of the tasks:

• Conduct WHSE assessments to determine vendor capability
• Review WHSE assessment submissions within agreed timelines
• Assist vendors close the gaps in their WHSE systems
• Respond to queries (via phone or email) and provide guidance and support to vendors
• Conduct risk reviews in line with defined criteria and protocols
• Adhere to relevant systems, policies, procedures, and processes
• Participate collaboratively in WHSE discussions and project work

Some of the skills required:

• You hold Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
• 2 - 3 years previous experience within a WHSE operational environment
• Safety management and audit expertise
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations related to WHSE compliance
• Attention to detail
• Ability to engage stakeholder groups and bring people on a journey
• A problem-solving mindset to mitigate future issues
• High level of written and verbal communication supporting diverse stakeholder groups
