Asset-Based Finance Consultant

Company Overview: A global credit specialist with approximately $16 billion in assets under management is seeking a contractor to support its Asset-Based Finance investment strategy. This role involves working closely with investment professionals across global teams in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate investment closings and subsequent fundings, including transaction structuring and legal documentation review.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of investment performance monitoring frameworks.
• Review monthly servicer reports, interest payment reports, and related portfolio reporting.
• Analyze variances between actual and forecasted cash flows and waterfall components.
• Build, maintain, and document valuation models for illiquid credit investments.
• Track and review financial statements, compliance certificates, and covenant reporting.
• Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly investor reporting packages.
• Contribute to strategic projects aimed at enhancing the Asset-Based Finance investment platform.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in credit investing, asset management, performance monitoring, or valuation.
• Advanced Excel skills, including experience building and maintaining cash flow and valuation models.
• Strong understanding of credit agreements, financing structures, and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and the ability to prepare clear presentations and reporting materials.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.

Compensation: Pay Rate: $65 – $100/hr
