Asset Controller

The Asset Controller is responsible for maintaining accurate records of company assets, monitoring their allocation and condition, and ensuring proper tracking and control of medical equipment, office equipment, furniture, and other assets across all clinic branches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the asset register for all company assets across clinic branches.
• Monitor the allocation, transfer, and return of assets between clinics and departments.
• Conduct regular physical asset verification and reconcile records with actual assets.
• Ensure all assets are properly tagged, identified, and recorded.
• Track the condition, maintenance, repair, and replacement of medical and non-medical equipment.
• Coordinate with clinic managers and relevant departments regarding missing, damaged, or unserviceable assets.
• Maintain records of asset purchases, transfers, disposals, and write-offs.
• Ensure proper documentation and approval for all asset movements.
• Prepare periodic asset reports and submit them to management.
• Coordinate with the Finance and Procurement Departments regarding asset purchases, records, and depreciation.
• Monitor asset utilization and identify unused or underutilized equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements for medical equipment and other assets.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate asset records and supporting documents.
• Follow up with clinic managers to ensure accountability for assets assigned to their branches.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience in asset control, inventory management, or fixed asset management.
• Experience in healthcare or clinic operations is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and asset management systems.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to coordinate with multiple clinic branches.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
