Asset Management Superintendent

About the Role

Semirara Mining and Power Corporation is looking for a qualified Asset Management Superintendent to lead asset management programs and outage planning for its power generation facilities. This role is responsible for optimizing equipment reliability, improving plant performance, managing maintenance costs, and ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of generation assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of asset management plans and programs
• Oversee planned and forced outages to ensure timely execution, cost efficiency, and equipment reliability
• Analyze equipment failures, maintenance costs, work orders, and asset performance to identify areas for improvement
• Manage equipment life cycle assessments, spare parts planning, and maintenance budgeting
• Monitor performance indicators and ensure compliance with environmental, safety, health, and regulatory requirements
• Lead and develop the asset management team to achieve operational goals and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
• At least five (5) years of experience in coal and plant operations and maintenance
• At least three (3) years of experience in a management or leadership role
• Knowledge of asset management, maintenance planning, outage management, and equipment reliability
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills
