Assistand Production Manager

About the role

Pricon Microelectronics Inc. is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to join our manufacturing operations team in Malvar, Batangas. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting the production management function within our facility. The role assists in planning, organizing, and supervising daily production operations. The role ensures that production targets are achieved while maintaining product quality, cost efficiency, safety, and on-time delivery

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling and coordinating daily production activities to meet customer demand and delivery timelines
• Monitor production performance against key metrics including output, quality standards and equipment efficiency
• Support the implementation and maintenance of production schedules and work orders across the facility
• Oversee and coordinate with production team members to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and safety protocols
• Identify and report production bottlenecks, inefficiencies and quality issues to the Production Manager
• Assist in the training, supervision and development of production personnel
• Collaborate with quality assurance, maintenance and logistics teams to optimize production flow
• Maintain accurate production records and reporting documentation
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization projects
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations within the production area

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing production environment, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant management capacity
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling and inventory management systems
• Demonstrated understanding of lean manufacturing principles, process optimisation and continuous improvement methodologies
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to motivate and develop production staff
• Proficiency in using production management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental compliance standards
• Knowledge of microelectronics or semiconductor manufacturing processes would be advantageous
• Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement training would be beneficial
