Assistant 1 yr Teacher

• current CDA credentials/ Currently enrolled in College, or College Degree
• 45 DCF hours (Willing to complete upon hire)
• One year professional experience
• Level 2 Background Screening
• Patience, flexibility and love for children.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Duties:

• Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care.
• Introduce early concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Help to maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Evaluate children’s performance to make sure they are on the right learning track.
• Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action.
• Keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interest.
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
• Carry out planned curriculum lessons/activities and effectively manage the classroom.
