Assistant Account Executive

AMA Insurance are seeking to appoint an Assistant Account Executive based at their head office in Nedlands. The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.

Working closely with our Account Executives, you will support the management of client portfolios, coordinate with insurers, prepare policy documentation, assist with claims and help ensure our clients’ insurance and risk compliance needs are met.

The role:

• Supporting our Account Executives with the day-to-day management of client portfolios.
• Assisting with insurance broking activities and ensuring clients’ insurance and risk management needs are met.
• Prepare and implement new business quotes, renewals, and policy amendments.
• Assisting with claims communications and triaging matters promptly and effectively.
• Liaising with insurers and underwriters to obtain competitive quotations and secure market capacity.
• Contribute to client retention and support new business growth initiatives
• Ensure all client files are maintained in a compliant manner.
• Thrive in a fun, flexible and supportive team environment.

Criteria:

• Tier 1 accreditation essential
• Previous broking experience with Domestic & Retail clients essential.
• Knowledge of the Winbeat system is preferred.
• Knowledge of the OfficeTech Document Management & Task would be advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive attitude and a genuine team player.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• The ability to manage volume-based tasks while working effectively within tight deadlines.
