Assistant Accountant / Accountant

Responsibilities

• Responsible for month-end closing, Group Consolidation & Reporting: Oversee and manage the monthly, interim and annual group consolidation process for multiple subsidiaries, ensuring full compliance with HKFRS/IFRS and internal company policies
• Participate in reports preparation and prepare monthly accounting schedules
• Handle payments, tax computations, treasury management and budgets
• Assist to prepare financial analysis and scenario evaluation
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as required

Requirements

• Degree holder in Accounting / Finance, member of ACCA / HKICPA or equivalent
• 3 years or above experience in accounting or auditing position
• Prior experience with a Big 4 or second-tier audit firm is an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office, experienced in using SAP or JiuQi(久其) reporting system is a plus
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin
• Relevant experience in shipowner company is preferred
