Assistant Accountant

This isn't a "sit in the corner and reconcile one ledger" kind of role. You'll get genuine exposure across multiple entities, real variety in your day-to-day, and direct access to a Finance Manager who's invested in developing your technical skills.

The role will see you:

• Take ownership of reconciliations, journals and reporting across multiple entities as part of the month-end cycle
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to support better business decisions
• Provide backup across payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed
• Help manage cash flow and working capital reporting
• Support tax/GST compliance, audit requirements and other statutory obligations
• Spot opportunities to tighten up processes and reporting accuracy along the way

What you'll bring:

• Part Qualified or Qualified CA/CPA
• Confidence working across multiple entities and juggling competing deadlines
• Solid Excel skills; ERP system exposure
• A proactive, detail-focused approach and strong communication skills
