ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

-  Daily G/L and A/R accounting operations;

-   Prepare weekly A/R ageing reports, and customers’ monthly statements;

-   Monthly closing of accounts and preparation of financials / management reports under HKGAAP/other applicable;

-   Analysis report of different income/expense or other business activities;

-   Handle receipts from customers, group treasury and internal cash movements;

-  Review salary calculations of group companies and other payments information;

-   Calculate subsidiaries’ income tax liability including deferred tax;

-   Liaise with external third parties such as auditors, bankers and customers’ A/P staff for the accounting activities;

-   Assist in upgrading the ERP system;

-   Regular travels (once / twice per month) to PRC & overseas factories for internal review functions;

-   Identify and give suggestions on accounting/finance functions; and

-   Ad-hoc duties assigned by management.

Requirements

To qualify, you must possess:

• High-diploma in accounting/finance or higher;
• Member of professional accounting body, student member
• Min. 5 years’ experience in commercial accounting with experience in full-set accounting, experience in audit is preferred;
• Hand on experience in manufacturing accounting preferred;
• Experience in accounting , legal and tax of US, PRC, Vietman company is preferred;
• Good command in verbal and written Cantonese, Mandarin and English;
• Good computer skills including MS Office applications and experience on KingDee Cloud ERP system;
• Able to work independently, timely and under pressure with high sense of discipline; and
• Good in communication & presentation skills
