Assistant Accountant

Job Summary:
The Assistant Accountant supports the accounting and finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and assisting with day-to-day accounting activities. The role requires good attention to detail, confidentiality, and timely completion of accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Record and maintain invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Prepare and verify invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer accounts.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting and financial documents.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up when required.
• Assist with VAT documentation and tax-related records.
• Support payroll and other finance-related administrative tasks.
• Check expenses and ensure proper supporting documents are available.
• Assist the Accountant with audits, financial analysis, and other accounting requirements.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties assigned by the Accountant or Management.

Pay: From AED2,000.00 per month
