We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Assistant Accountant with strong analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about accuracy, proactive in financial operations, and capable of working effectively under deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, management accounts, and cash flow forecasts.
• Perform routine bank reconciliations, client fund reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Process payments, vendor invoices, petty cash, and manage billing/invoicing functions.
• Support statutory compliance, tax filings (VAT, SSCL, WHT/APIT), and liaise with external auditors.
• Maintain accurate financial records, schedules, and assist in periodic regulatory reporting.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting or audit experience (experience in financial services or wealth management is an added advantage).
• Education: Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CIMA, or a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software, strong attention to detail, excellent command of English, and the ability to work independently.
