Assistant Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Handle AP & General Ledger: Execute accounts payable operations (invoice validation, reconciliations, batch payments) and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Support Month-End Closing: Prepare operational PL, balance sheet schedules, accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis reports.
• Manage Treasury & Online Banking: Operate corporate online banking platforms for payment, fund transfers, cash flow tracking, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Manage Vendor Data: Maintain vendor master data.
• Coordinate HK & PRC Operation Team: Partner with cross-border teams to align AP processes.
• Drive Process Improvements: Assist in process streamlines and system automation projects for efficiency enhancement.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Professional qualification holder of HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in accounting, with exposure to full sets of accounts preferred.
• Proficient MS Excel skills.
• Knowledge in SAP is an asset.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
