Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Assistant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will support daily financial operations, ensure accurate record-keeping, and assist with reporting and reconciliation tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping.
• Handle preparation, calculation, and timely deduction of TDS.
• Assist in preparing invoices, purchase orders, and processing payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts on a regular basis.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and summaries.
• Manage petty cash and monitor office expenses.
• Assist in monthly closing activities and audit processes.
• Maintain organized documentation and filing systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role is mandatory. (Freshers are not eligible to apply).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
