Location: Grand Prairie, TX
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

About Us

We are a growing heavy-duty truck refurbishing and parts company looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and contributing to a fast-paced business.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks.
• Record and reconcile financial transactions.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
• Process invoices, payments, and vendor accounts.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Help organize and maintain financial records and documentation.
• Support payroll and other accounting functions as needed.
• Assist with sales tax filings and other tax-related tasks (preferred but not required).
• Work closely with management to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (required).
• Advanced working knowledge of Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel (required).
• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Experience with tax preparation or tax filing is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• No college degree required. Relevant experience is valued more than formal education.
