Assistant Accountant

This role will support daily accounting operations, financial reporting, cash flow forecasting and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Process and record daily accounts payable invoices.
• Process intercompany invoices, accounts receivable entries and general ledger vouchers.
• Prepare regular payments to vendors.
• Handle a full set of accounts and prepare schedules and reconciliations for period-end reporting.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Assist with quarterly forecasting and budgeting.
• Prepare year-end schedules and liaise with auditors to provide supporting documentation.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and undertake other assignments as required.

Requirements

• A diploma or above in Accounting.
• Three to five years of relevant experience in processing accounts payable invoices, handling payments and preparing forecast reports.
• Knowledge of accounting systems, such as Oracle and AS400.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail, a proactive approach and good problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
