Assistant Accountant / Finalist

We are working with a leading manufacturing company in South Dublin who are hiring an Assistant Accountant to join their team . This role is initially on a temporary basis with a view to extension and requires an immediate start

Reporting to the Financial Controller role will briefly involve:

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close and management accounts
• Posting Journals
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Assist with VAT and other statutory returns
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
• Assist with audit and year-end activities
• Provide general support to the finance team

Key Skills

• 4+ years’ experience in a a similar role
• Finalist or experienced Part Qualified Accountant
• Strong Excel skills and good attention to detail

This role will be based in Dublin 18 with 2 days onsite after training.
