Assistant Accountant (FP&A)

The candidate will be part of the Finance team supporting the Singapore and SEA business units in financial planning, analysis and reporting. Working closely with the FP&A team, the candidate will support the preparation and analysis of financial information to facilitate business planning and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of monthly management reports, forecasts and annual budgets for the business units
• Perform financial and variance analysis, and highlight key trends or areas requiring attention
• Assist in the collection, consolidation and validation of financial and operational data to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Support the FP&A team in analysing business performance, costs and profitability
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain information and follow up on financial and reporting matters
• Assist in maintaining and improving financial processes, reporting templates and internal controls
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting
• Assist in the preparation of financial analysis and basic financial models for business projects, capital expenditure and other management requirements
• Provide support for ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent in Accountancy or Finance
• Good numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with financial data
• Self-motivated, organised and willing to be hands-on
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders across different functions
• Knowledge of data analytics, visualisation or automation tools will be an added advantage
