Assistant Accountant (Full-time)

A well-established real estate and hotel investment development group with a diversified/global portfolio of residential, commercial and hotel properties, invites high caliber applicants to apply for the following position:

Responsibilities:

• Report to the Finance Manager/Accounting Manager
• Responsible for full set of accounts
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
• Assist in day-to-day accounting duties including preparing cheque payments and receipts, data entry, voucher preparation and filing
• Provide support for year-end audit
• Perform other ad-hoc assignments as requested
• Deliver documents to Audit Firms, Banks, IRD and Law Firms, if necessary

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting or related disciplines

• Minimum 2 years experience in handling full set of accounts

• ACCA/HKICPA semi-finalist is an advantage

• Experience in handling with company secretarial matters is also an advantage but not a must

• Good excel spreadsheet skills; familiar with the operation of ACCPAC is an advantage

• Analytical, well organized, detailed minded, able to meet tight deadlines and good problem solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a good team player;

• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;

• Immediate availability is highly preferred

• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Account Officer.
