Assistant Accountant - GL

Work Location : Vertis North, Corporate Center Tower 3 Quezon City
Work Schedule : Onsite Work Setup | Hybrid upon regularization
Work Shift : Midshift | 3:00PM - 12:00 AM, Monday - Friday

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a minimum of 4 years of experience in full-cycle accounting, handling general ledger, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing
• Proven ability to prepare journal entries, perform balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end close activities with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies, evaluate financial data and deliver timely resolutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working in a large, fast-paced multinational organization with exposure to complex accounting operations are preferred.
• Experience working in multi-entity or group accounting environments.
• Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and internal control frameworks.
• Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as Oracle or SAP
• Financials, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills including PivotTables and VLOOKUP functions.

Pay: Php35,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
