Assistant Accountant Intern

About the Role

Maxwin E-Commerce Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Intern to support our Finance & Accounts team. This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in accounting operations, financial documentation, reconciliations, and day-to-day finance activities in an e-commerce business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the accounts team with day-to-day accounting and financial activities.
• Record and maintain sales, purchase, expense, and other accounting transactions.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining invoices, bills, vouchers, and other financial documents.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Assist with bank, payment gateway, and other account reconciliations.
• Help maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
• Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory documentation and compliance activities.
• Support the preparation of monthly reports and financial statements.
• Verify invoices and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Assist with data entry and maintaining records in accounting software/ERP systems.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding billing, payments, and financial documentation.
• Perform other accounting and administrative tasks assigned by the Finance Manager or Accounts Team.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, or a related qualification.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.
• Familiarity with Accounting software is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of GST and TDS is preferred.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and take responsibility.
