Assistant Accounting Manager

About the role

This is an accounting leadership position responsible for financial record management, financial statement closure, tax compliance, budget control, asset management, and team oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Control and verify the accuracy of accounting entries for AR/AP, cash accounts, and receivables-payables reconciliation
• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts and prepaid items
• Adjust accounting entries in the general journal and conduct monthly and annual financial statement closures including cost of sales, depreciation, revenue-expenses, and purchase-sales tax
• Prepare financial reports (balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cash flow statement) and supporting reports for timely management presentation
• Verify, calculate, and file company tax forms including ภ.ง.ด.1, 2, 3, 53, 54, ภ.พ.30, ภ.ง.ด.50 and ภ.ง.ด.51 accurately, completely, and on time to avoid penalties
• Conduct monthly tax reconciliation with relevant GL accounts
• Collect and control departmental budget usage in accordance with established plans
• Oversee and manage asset accounting and conduct monthly asset counts to ensure system accuracy
• Coordinate with government agencies (Revenue Department, DBD) and external auditors
• Manage, control, review, and develop subordinates including accounting department head, cost accounting head, and accounting staff

About you

• Age 30–40 years
• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in SAP B1 accounting software
• Skilled in MS Office programs, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Holds a CPD (Certified Public Accountant) license or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license
• Deep knowledge and understanding of accounting standards and relevant tax regulations
• Demonstrates attention to detail, professional integrity, and punctuality
• Leadership skills with ability to manage, develop, and train team members
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively under pressure with tight deadlines
• Experience working with or using SAP Business One (SAP B1) will be considered an advantage.
