About the role
The Assistant Aircon Technician assists the Aircon Technician in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, cleaning, and repair of air-conditioning units. The position supports the proper handling of tools, equipment, and materials and performs other related tasks as assigned.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Aircon Technician in the installation, maintenance, cleaning, and repair of air-conditioning units
- Prepare and handle tools, equipment, and materials needed for air-conditioning work
- Assist in inspecting air-conditioning units and identifying basic issues or defects
- Support the proper dismantling, cleaning, and reassembly of air-conditioning components
- Assist in carrying, lifting, and transporting air-conditioning equipment and materials
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area and properly store tools and equipment after use
- Follow safety procedures and instructions when performing assigned tasks
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor
