Assistant & General Managers - Restaurant

We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead one of our Popeyes restaurants. The General Manager is responsible for the overall operation and performance of the restaurant, including team leadership, guest satisfaction, sales growth, profitability, food safety, and operational execution.

We are looking for a strong restaurant leader who can build a great team, develop people, maintain high standards, and consistently deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the restaurant and ensure all Popeyes brand standards are consistently followed
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop restaurant management and crew members
• Build and maintain a strong, positive, people-first culture
• Lead by example and create an environment of accountability, teamwork, and professionalism
• Drive sales, guest satisfaction, transactions, and overall restaurant performance
• Monitor and manage key restaurant performance metrics and develop action plans to improve results
• Manage labor, food, paper, and other operating expenses to achieve financial goals
• Assist with managing restaurant P&L performance and controlling costs
• Ensure proper staffing levels and effective scheduling based on business needs
• Maintain high standards for food quality, preparation, cleanliness, and restaurant appearance
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, health department, and company requirements
• Maintain ServSafe and food safety standards throughout the restaurant
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience and professionally resolve customer concerns
• Conduct regular coaching and performance feedback with management and crew
• Hold the management team accountable for operational standards and execution
• Ensure proper cash handling, inventory control, ordering, and loss prevention procedures
• Maintain accurate restaurant records, reports, and required documentation
• Prepare the restaurant for brand visits, inspections, and operational evaluations
• Ensure all required training is completed by management and crew
• Create a strong bench of future leaders through ongoing development and coaching
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and productive work environment

Qualifications

Required:

• ServSafe Certification
• At least 1 year of General Manager or Restaurant Manager experience

We will also consider strong Assistant Managers who have significant restaurant leadership experience and are ready to take the next step into a General Manager position.
