Assistant Baker

JOB SUMMARY: The Assistant Baker assists in baking flour samples, such as bread, cookies, cakes, steam buns and other baked products to ensure good quality of the flour.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Performs baking test of flour samples.
2. Prepares materials and equipment/utensils to be used in baking.
3. Documents testing data, calibration and cleaning records.
4. Cleaning of equipment and utensils.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least high school graduate
• Graduate in Baking School is an advantage, or have a TESDA Certificate in Bread and Pastry Production
• At least 2-3 years work experience in baking
• Competent in baking any kind of bread and bread products
• Knowledge in flour rheology is preferred but not required
• Ability to perform baking demonstration
• Amendable to work from Mondays to Saturdays at Bagong Ilog, Pasig City
